Lilah (Photos September 20th 2026) - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Lilah is a cute 3-month old female Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on September 20th 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found her on State Route 26 in the Marietta Ohio area. Lilah was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. Lilah's coat was clean and dry (we noted that it had been raining most of the day) and her nails were nicely trimmed, so someone was obviously taking good care of her.

This little girl has a black/white/tan coat with blue/red ticking, a long tail, and a precious face with freckles and dark brown eyes, a patch of black/tan on the right-hand side of her face, a black button nose, and large semi-erect/erect ears. Lilah still has tiny baby teeth.

Lilah has a typical puppy personality and is full of playful antics. At this stage of her life, she is all about fun-and-games (and loving attention).

Lilah weighs 19.1 lbs.

These photos of Lilah were taken on the afternoon of September 20th when HSOV Volunteer Jennie Sherrard assisted her for indoor pictures. Lilah had 'free reign' of the shelter lobby (and couch) in order to expend some out-of-floor-crate energy and to challenge the photography 'team' to see if they could keep up with Lilah to snap her puppy pictures. So the game was on and ended in a tie since everyone accomplished their goal(s). Lilah enjoyed posing for 'action shots' and also some still-life photos, and we managed to take an assortment of pictures of this little dynamo (lol).

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Lilah will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
