Blue-Tongued Skink (Photos August 2026) - Torbie and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Blue-Tongued Skink is an adorable female Torbie kitten who arrived at HSOV on July 7th 2026 after she and her nine siblings/relatives were found on Wentz Road in the Marietta Ohio area. Blue-Tongued Skink was estimated to have been 6-weeks old at that time.

Blue-Tongued Skink has a brown tabby-and-orange shorthaired coat in a Torbie pattern, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with a patch of orange tabby on the top of her head, golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and extra-long white whiskers.

Blue-Tongued Skink was given flea treatment on July 7th. She received vaccinations and Drontal dewormer on July 16th 2026. Blue-Tongued Skink was given booster vaccines on August 5th 2026.

This little playgirl has a sweet disposition and an outgoing personality. She loves attention as well as fun-and-games. Blue-Tongued Skink is good with other kittens as well as children.

These photos of Blue-Tongued Skink were taken during August 2026 shortly after she was moved to The Jungle Room where most of our adoptable cats are housed. She is currently sharing a double-wide cage with two of her siblings (Basilisk and Iguana), and they royally entertain each other.

Blue-Tongued Skink will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on September 14th). A potential adopter fell in love with this little beauty on September 2nd, so Blue-Tongued Skink already has a home waiting for her after she is spayed.
