Tootin' (Photos September 6th 2026) - Domestic Short Hair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Tootin' is an adorable male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on June 2nd 2026 along with his brother Rootin') after Good Samaritans found the boys on State Route 26 in the Marietta Ohio area. Tootin' and Rootin' were tiny 6-week old babies at that time.

Tootin' has a white shorthaired coat with gray tabby markings in a van pattern. Tootin' has a long tray/white ringed tail and a cute (rather mischievous-looking) face with golden eyes, gray tabby markings on the top of his head/base of his ears, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.

Tootin' was given Pyrantel dewormer and vaccinations on June 24, 2026. He was given booster vaccines on July 16- and August 5, 2026. Tootin' weighed 2.8 lbs on August 5th.

These photos of Tootin' were taken on September 6th while he displayed his fancy footwork as he pussyfooted through the pumpkin patch and also batted tiny toy balls around. Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Angel Grosklos for assisting Tootin' with his big boy pictures. This little playboy has a sweet disposition and is full of playful kitten energy. Tootin' and Rootin' complement each other in that Tootin' is the self-proclaimed activities director with a Type 'A' outgoing personality and is in charge of fun-and-games. Rootin' is the more quiet of the pair and also has a sweet, lovable personality.

Tootin' and Rootin' will be neutered before being adopted by their new family/families (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). These boys would be a wonderful addition to your household if they were adopted together (hint, hint)
