Soy Sauce (Photos September 6th 2026) - Tuxedo and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Soy Sauce is a handsome male Tuxedo kitten who was brought to the HSOV on June 9th 2026 along with his sister (Sushi) after they were found fending for themselves on Meadow Lane in Marietta Ohio. Soy Sauce and Sushi were tiny 8-week old babies at that time.

Soy Sauce has a shiny black shorthaired coat with a patch of white on his chest in a tuxedo pattern, white socks on his paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and extra-long white whiskers (and one extra-long eyebrow!)

This little playboy was given Pyrantel dewormer and vaccinations on June 11th 2026. He weighed 2.2 lbs that day. Soy Sauce was given booster vaccines on July 1st and August 1st 2026.

Soy Sauce has a playful, outgoing personality and is the more dominant sibling. Soy Sauce is the 'big brother' who acts as his little sister's 'security blanket' and engages her in playtime. They have been kept together since the first day of their arrival and are currently sharing a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room where most of our adoptable cats are housed.

These photos of Soy Sauce were taken on September 6th 2026 with thanks to HSOV Volunteer Angel Grosklos who helped him with his big boy pictures in our 'studio'. Soy Sauce posed like a Kitten Fancy Magazine model and even gave us his best rendition of his 'downward kitten yoga' poses.

Soy Sauce will be neutered before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). Naturally we'd love to see Soy Sauce and Sushi adopted together.
