Snow (Rain's Kitten) (Photos August 27th 2026) - Torbie and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Snow is a beautiful female kitten who was surrendered by her owner on June 3rd 2026 along with her mother (Rain) and four siblings (Foggy, Lightning, Thunder, and Windy) because the family did not have the time nor space to take care of them. Snow and her brother/sisters were tiny 5-week old babies at that time.

Snow has a stunning brown-and-orange/bronze shorthaired coat in a marbled tabby pattern, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, a dusting of white on her muzzle/throat, and long white whiskers.

Momma Rain was a wonderful loving mother to her five babies. Rain raised four of her babies to be happy, socialized kittens. Sadly, kitten Windy (who was the smallest of the siblings) did not survive and passed away on June 18th.

The kittens were separated from Rain in early August after they were fully weaned, and they have been enjoying a double-wide cage where they engage in silly kitten games and snuggle up for long afternoon naps... And momma Rain is also enjoying some much-needed 'rest and relaxation' time in an adjacent cage.

Snow was given first vaccines on August 5th 2026. She weighed 2.6 lbs that day. Snow has also been given Pyrantel and Panacur dewormer.

These photos of Snow were taken on August 27th when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn assisted Snow with her glamour pictures. Snow was a social butterfly and a joy to photograph while she displayed some fancy footwork and happily pranced around the 'studio'. This little sweetheart knew all the right moves to show off her beautiful coat and to 'flirt' with the camera lens.

Snow will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on September 14th 2026) and will soon be ready to find a loving home. She and her brother Lightning would be a beautiful couple to adopt together with their matching coats of many colors (smile).
