Silver (Neutered (Photos August 2nd 2026) - Yellow Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Silver is a handsome 8-month old male Yellow Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on August 2nd 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Barnett Ridge Road in the Belpre Ohio area. Silver was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.

This good-looking young man has a pale yellow/cream short-haired coat, a long tail, and a beautiful Labrador face with light brown eyes, a milk chocolate nose, and short floppy ears 3 3

These photos of Silver were taken late in the afternoon on August 2nd when HSOV Volunteer Jennie Payton Sherrard accompanied him for outdoor 'glamour pictures' 3 Silver has a sweet, rather demure, disposition and a very friendly personality. He 'sat pretty' in several of his photos and looked up at Jennie with such admiration and love in his hopeful, innocent eyes.

Silver has already been neutered and weighs approximately 55 lbs.

Silver didn't appear to have had much walking-on-a-leash experience, but he made a noble effort to please Jennie and did himself proud. Silver is an intelligent boy who will quickly master that new skill.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Silver will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Surely someone is frantically looking for this sweet guy
