Annie (Photos July 14th 2026) - Terrier Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Annie is a beautiful young (perhaps one-year old) female Terrier mix who arrived at the HSOV on July 13th 2026 after a Good Samaritan found her on County Road Nine/Leith Run Road in the New Matamoras Ohio. Annie did not have a name tag nor a dog license tag, and she was not microchipped.

Annie has a black-and-white shorthaired coat with a unique pattern, a short docked tail, and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with dark golden eyes, a black button nose, and perky semi-erect ears. She has the nicest 'smile' and is such a happy young lady.

These photos of Annie were taken late in the afternoon on July 14th when HSOV Volunteer Jennie Payton Sherrard accompanied Annie outdoors for her Petfinder/Adoptapet/Facebook pictures. Annie was a delight to photograph and to spend time with. She seemed to lean on Jennie for reassurance and moral support (smile) and stayed as close to her as possible. Annie weighs approximately 50 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Annie will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Surely someone is missing this little dollbaby.
