Wilma (Photos July 10th 2026) - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Wilma is a beautiful 2-year old female Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on July 2nd 2026 by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff who picked her up on Veto Road in the Belpre Ohio area. Wilma was accompanied by a handsome male Pit Bull Terrier mix who naturally had to be Fred.

Wilma has a chocolate brown coat with a large white bib on her chest, white front paws, a long tail, and an adorable brown/white face with expressive dark brown eyes, a milk chocolate nose, and large 'folded-over' ears. Wilma has the cutest wrinkles on her forehead.

This little sweetheart appears to have had a litter of puppies in her young life, and we're sure that she would have been a wonderful mother since we've witnessed her sweet personality first-hand.

These pictures of Wilma were taken on the afternoon of July 10th when HSOV Kennel Tech Liz Stingley accompanied Wilma for her outdoor glamour/Petfinder photos. Wilma was a pushover for attention from Liz .. And who could resist Wilma's hopeful big brown eyes which beg for loving attention and kindness?

Wilma weighs approximately 50 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Wilma (and Fred) were held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that their family would have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership. Sadly, nobody has called or came looking for them as of July 12th 2026.
