Beagle Babe (Photos July 18th 2026) - Beagle Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Beagle Babe is a lovely 9-year old female Beagle who was brought to the HSOV on July 16th 2026 by a Marietta Ohio City Policeman who picked her up on Pike Street in Marietta Ohio. Babe was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.

Beagle Babe has a black/brown/white short-haired coat, a long tail, and a beautiful Beagle face with dark brown eyes, tiny white/blonde eyelashes, a chubby white muzzle, and extra-large floppy ears which just beg to be petted

This sweet senior has a super-sweet, easygoing personality. She appears to be housetrained and pays no attention to other dogs or cats. Beagle Babe may be a little hard of hearing but she immediately responds to attention the moment you make eye contact with her.

Beagle Babe is 'pleasingly plump and weighs perhaps 45 lbs or so.

This little lady is currently residing in our front office and has quickly made herself at home.

These photos were taken on July 18th 2026 when HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver accompanied Beagle Babe outdoors for glamour photos (and a bathroom break) (smile).

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Beagle Babe will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
