Sea Lion is a beautiful female Torbie kitten who came to the HSOV on April 24, 2026 along with her mother (Tundra) and her four siblings (Arctic Wolf, Hare, Walrus and Weasel). Momma Tundra and her babies were found on Hillcrest Drive in Marietta Ohio fending for themselves, and thankfully a Good Samaritan brought them to the safety of our shelter. Sea Lion and her siblings were tiny 10-day old babies when they arrived on April 24th.
This little playgirl has a brown tabby short-haired coat with subtle orange highlights, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a dusting of white on her muzzle/chin, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.
Sea Lion was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on June 2, 2026. She was given booster vaccines on July 1, 2026.
Momma Tundra was a wonderful mother to her five biological kittens, and she also accepted three 3-day old orphaned kittens on April 28th (Caribou, Chinchilla and Swan) after their mother was struck/killed in a traffic accident. Sadly, Caribou did not survive and passed away on May 19th.
Sea Lion and her blended family of siblings were raised to be happy, playful youngsters and were separated from momma Tundra after they were fully weaned.
Sea Lion is currently sharing a double-wide cage with her brother (Walrus) and her two cousins (Chinchilla and Swan). These 'quadruplets' are very compatible and dearly love each other. They enjoy romping/playing together and jumping through the connecting portal for surprise ambushes (smile).
Sea Lion will be spayed (tentatively on August 3rd 2026) and will soon be ready to find her dream home. Naturally we'd love to see her adopted as a pair with one of her siblings
