Saber (Photos July 14th 2026) - Tuxedo and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Saber is a cute 7-week old female Tuxedo kitten who was brought to the HSOV on May 14, 2026 along with her two siblings (Dagger and Katana) after they were found by themselves (with no mother in sight) on Miles Avenue in the Little Hocking Ohio area.

Saber has a black-and-white short-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a splash of white on her muzzle, a black velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

Saber is a happy, lovable young lady with a playful kitten personality, and she loves sharing a double-wide cage with her brother and sister. These 'three mouseketeers' romp/play together and snuggle up with each other for multiple cat naps during the day.

Saber is a petite kitten who weighed 1.3 lbs when she entered our shelter on May 14th 2026. Saber was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on May 19th 2026. She was given booster vaccines on June 3rd and June 27th 2026. Saber weighed 2.6 lbs on June 27th.

These photos of Saber were taken on July 14th while she enjoyed out-of-cage time in our 'studio' for her 'big girl' pictures. Saber discovered a tiny toy orange mouse which she thoroughly enjoyed playing/batting around. She also posed for beautiful 'still-life' pictures sitting beside the wicker basket filled with summer flowers.

Her brother (Dagger) was neutered on July 6th 2026 and was adopted on July 7th 2026.

Saber and Katana are continuing their playtime as a 'two-some', and they will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on August 3rd). Naturally we'd love to see them adopted together.
