Shaker
Meet Shaker, a sweet, loving, cuddly, and playful three-year-old who weighs thirteen pounds! He’s low energy with a little playful side. About five minutes of play with his favorite chick squeaky toy tires him right out, and that toy will go home with him to his adopter!
Shaker loves people. He can be cautious at first, but with a slow, gentle introduction, he warms right up. When he met his foster’s dad, he was all over him in no time! He adjusts pretty well to new situations and is a little indifferent to other dogs.
He’s potty trained when he’s taken out every four to five hours, and he wears a belly band indoors. He’s good in his crate and settles quietly after about five minutes. He’s getting better on the leash every day and building his confidence as he goes.
Shaker is quiet at home and just wants to be around his people. He loves belly rubs and cuddling up on the couch.
He’d do best in a calm or moderate home with someone who wants a cuddly, low-key companion. He’s a great fit for an apartment or a house.
