Chewie
Meet Chewie, a friendly, cuddly, sweet, and eager-to-please seven-year-old Shih Tzu who weighs nine and a half pounds! He's moderate energy and deeply people-oriented, and he meets new situations with enthusiasm and curiosity. He's quite confident for his size!
Chewie is very friendly with everyone he meets. He's great with dogs of all sizes (he's met three Great Danes and was totally unfazed) and polite out and about. He settled under the table for an entire dinner with guests. He walks nicely on a loose leash, knows sit and down, and uses pee pads or goes outside.
His days are full of walks, a little playtime with his favorite small plush toys, and snuggling into a cozy bed. He loves to burrow into blankets head first.
Chewie would do best with an adopter who wants a snuggly best friend to take everywhere. He's a great fit for apartment living in a moderate household, and he'd do well as an only dog or with another pup.
