Jameson - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption

Jameson (aka "Jamie")

Meet Jameson, a gentle, darling, joyful, and sweet eleven-year-old who weighs fourteen pounds! She's low to moderate energy. She sleeps a lot, but she's got a pep in her step when it's time for a walk. She's people- and dog-oriented, and she handles new situations like a pro. After meeting someone new, it takes her about five minutes to go in for cuddles.

Jameson is great with all dogs, and bigger dogs don't stress her out. She minds well, comes when you call "Jamie," and walks very nicely on a leash. She's pee pad trained and loves a little grass on her walks. When she's home alone, she wanders for a bit, then finds a comfy spot to sleep. She's easy and adaptable, and she's happy with three 20-minute walks a day.

She has some adorable quirks. Her lip sometimes flips up to show a cute little snagged tooth, and when the leash comes out she bounces, with her back legs walking in a straight line like she's strutting!

Jameson would do best with an adopter who wants a loving, calm companion. She's a great fit for apartment living and just about any type of household, and she'd do well as an only dog or with another dog.
