Harley
Meet Harley, a calm, lovey, and happy three-year-old who weighs about forty pounds! She's moderate energy and people-oriented, and she loves the people closest to her. She's a little shy at first and likes to observe new situations, but she adapts quickly. She's amazing with all dogs and people. She never barks, jumps, or bites, and she warms up fast.
Harley is potty trained (not one accident!) and crate trained. She loves her crate and uses it as her safe place to chill. She knows sit, crate, and stop. She's still getting used to walking on a leash, and she may zig-zag a bit, but she never pulls and she's very easy to guide. She walks right at her person's pace.
She loves to cuddle, run around the apartment, and go on walks, especially in busier places, and she's adjusted to a lot in New York in just a few days. She loves a long weekend walk or a romp at the park. She hasn't found a favorite toy yet, but she's a fan of treats, praise, and pets.
Harley would do best with an adopter who wants a sweet, loving dog to be at their side through everything. She'd do well as an only dog or with another dog, in a moderate to active household. She's fine in an apartment, though with her size she'd love a little extra room.
What her foster says about her:
"She is just the best dog. She is so kind and cuddly, she makes me so happy. She loves to just sit with you and loves going on walks. She is definitely a girl's best friend!"
