Poppy
Meet Poppy, a sweet, curious, and very affectionate three-year-old English Bulldog/Shih Tzu mix who weighs twenty-five pounds! She's moderate energy and VERY people-oriented. She loves people and is thrilled to meet anyone who comes over. She adjusts quickly to new places, and a few treats help her settle right in.
Poppy loves to say hello to other dogs and has been friendly with dogs her own size. She's potty trained, goes on walks, and has the stamina for a longer one when you're up for it. She's learning to sit and listens well when you tell her to come. She's very treat motivated, which makes training a breeze. When she has a bone, rawhide, or chew to work on, she stays happily occupied and will nap nearby while you work.
She does a cute stand on her hind legs when she wants something. She's a great apartment dog who can join you on outings, too.
Poppy would do best with an adopter who wants a highly affectionate companion, in a moderate household.

"She is ridiculously wiggly, the second she starts to get your attention her tail starts wagging a mile a minute and her whole body goes along with it. She also does a very funny little belly crawl when she's trying to approach you without being too jumpy. She's a silly little girl and she just wants love and attention."
