We’re guessing Story is around 3–4 years old, and her little body carries quite a few old scars. We don’t know what happened before she came to us, but we do know one thing...
Her past doesn’t get to decide how her story ends.
And this girl is SO ready for the next chapter.
Story has been nothing but kind and lovable since arriving. During her little photo shoot, she was absolutely fascinated by everything we were doing. She really did try to listen and pose like the sophisticated lady we were asking her to be...but HUMAN AFFECTION WAS HAPPENING and she simply could not contain herself.
She was happy.
She was excited.
She wanted attention.
She wanted love.
And honestly, seeing a dog with so many old scars still be this excited about people gets you right in the heart.
We still have a lot to learn about Story.
We don’t know yet how she is with other dogs, cats or children. A foster home would be incredible for her, somewhere she could decompress away from the shelter so we could really learn who Story is.
