Hi. I’m #Eddy

I’m a little boy, approximately 3–4 pounds of Miniature Pinscher-ish tiny dog, and apparently someone forgot one very important thing during my first chapter of life:
TEACHING ME HOW TO BE A DOG.
Nobody taught me anything.
Sit? Nope.
Stay? LOL.
Roll over? Why?
Play with toys? I literally don’t know how.
Someone squeezed a squeaky duck and I PEED.
So there’s that.
And now?
I’m here. In a shelter. And I am SCARED.
Like what in the actual heck happened to my life scared.
We don’t know exactly what my life looked like before coming here. What we DO know is that I need someone willing to start from the beginning with me.
I have separation anxiety. I still need help with potty training. I need to learn basic commands, build confidence and understand that I’m finally safe.
I need a responsible small-dog owner who isn’t going to let me get away with murder just because I weigh less than a bag of potatoes.
Someone with Miniature Pinscher or similar small-dog experience would be AMAZING.
Because underneath all this fear?
I’m a freaking LOVE BUG.
I want held.
I want cuddled.
I want to burrow underneath your blankets like a tiny mole.
I’m good with cats and did well with 11-year-old children, but younger little kids are a little too much for me, so older, respectful children please.
A volunteer took me home for the night and I have discovered that a KING-SIZE BED is the appropriate sleeping arrangement for my 5lbs pound body.
Do I need that much room?
No.
But I’ve been through some crap, Let me have this.
I still need to be vetted, so we’ll hopefully know more about my age soon. Right now, we’re guessing I’m young, possibly around a year old.
Please don’t choose me just because I’m tiny and cute.
Choose me because you’re ready to be responsible for me. Choose me because you have patience.
Choose me because you’re willing to teach me all the things nobody bothered to teach me before.
Because I’m Eddy.
Tiny boy.
Zero life skills.
Professional cuddler.
Scared as hell.
And ready for someone to finally show me how good life can be.
