And yes, my Milkshake WILL bring all the applications to the yard, because after the day I’ve had, I deserve at least that much.

I’m a young Cattle Dog-type mix, possibly with a little Australian Shepherd mixed in, and until today...
I HAD A HOME.
Allegedly my so called owner reportedly tried to surrender me to the local pound.
When that didn’t work out, apparently we moved on to Plan B:
Bring me to The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project and say...
“I found her on Main Street.”

Ma’am.
YOU JUST TRIED TO SURRENDER ME.
Did we think nobody was going to compare notes?!
THEY EVEN LEFT MY HARNESS ON ME.
You’re trying to launch my brand-new career as a mysterious street dog and YOU LEFT ME WEARING MY HARNESS?!
At least let a girl commit to the storyline.
All joking aside, though...
I’m scared.
I’m quiet.
I’m confused.
I’m incredibly sweet, but right now I’m trying to figure out what the heck just happened to everything I knew.
I came from a home.
Yesterday I had my people, my routine and a place that was familiar to me.
Today I’m sitting in a shelter with approximately 87 roommates who communicate exclusively through barking.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
The people here are going to give me some time to decompress before making any promises about how I feel about other dogs, cats or kiddos.
Right now, I just need a minute to realize that I’m safe.
And listen, humans...

I’ll be available to actually go home after I’m fully vetted, but APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED NOW!
So get yourself lined up because I would personally like my shelter stay to be “Why did we even bother making Milkshake a kennel card?” short.
