Pearlie was found as a stray.
Maybe she’s 3-4 years old , we don’t know where she came from or what her life looked like before she arrived here.
Like so many dogs who suddenly find themselves in a shelter, she is anxious and still decompressing while she tries to figure out this completely new environment.

But what we DO know so far?
She’s very sweet.
We are able to leash her up and take her for walks .
She has been keeping her kennel clean, and we’re slowly getting to know more about her every day.
Pearlie has not been dog tested yet, so we’re not going to make promises about something we don’t know. At this time, we’re also asking for older, respectful children while she continues to settle in and show us who she is.
Pearlie didn’t ask to become a stray.
She didn’t ask for a kennel.
And she certainly didn’t ask to become another dog waiting for somebody to make room in their life for her.
