Well... apparently I went to the vet and came home with a whole medical résumé nobody asked for.
Hi, I’m Frosty! I’m believed to be around 6–7 years old, I came in as a stray, and yesterday I had my big vet appointment.
The good news? I was an absolute sweetheart. I was so loving that I even tried to crawl into our volunteer’s lap WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING. Excuse me, ma’am, I saw an available lap. What was I supposed to do?!
The not-so-great news is that I tested positive for heartworm and Lyme disease. I’ll be receiving the treatment I need, but we would LOVE to find me a comfortable place to recover instead of doing it in the shelter.
My skin is also pretty rough and flaky right now, so I’m getting some much-needed TLC. But underneath all of that is one seriously sweet girl.
I’m an easy walk, I don’t care to live with another dog .. so it’s just gonna be you and me if that’s ok..
and I’m a little sensitive around my backside, so please respect the booty.
Oh, and I’m VOCAL.

Did you need me? No? Well, I needed YOU to know where I was.
I’ve had a rough start, and now I have some medical stuff to work through, but I sure would love to do it with someone beside me.
