Benedict is a cute male kitten who was surrendered by his owner on April 8, 2026 along with his mother (Violet) and little sister (Eloise) because their family was no longer able to take care of them. Benedict and Eloise were tiny 3-day old babies at that time.
Benedict has an orange tabby-and-white mediumhaired coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with dark golden eyes, nice 'ear furnishings', a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
Violet was the best mother to her two babies and lovingly raised them to be happy, socialized youngsters. Violet was separated from Benedict and Eloise on June 6th since they were fully weaned, and Violet was spayed on June 8th.
Benedict and Eloise have remained together and are currently sharing a double-wide cage in our Jungle Room. They are both active youngsters who are super friendly and also super playful, and they dearly love each other.
Benedict was given vaccinations on June 8th 2026. He was given booster vaccines on June 27th. Benedict weighed 3.1 lbs that day.
Benedict's mother (Violet) was adopted on June 23rd 2026 and was combo tested shortly before she left the shelter with her adoptive family. Test results were negative for feline leukemia, FIV/Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and heartworm ,,, which is also great news for Benedict and Eloise.
Benedict will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on July 6th) and will soon be ready to find a fabulous home. Naturally we'd love to see him adopted with his little sister Eloise.
