Tart (Empty-Nester) (Photos June 2026) - Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Tart is a lovely 2-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on May 12, 2026 and entrusted to our care with her three tiny kittens (Pot Pie, Quiche, and Shepherds Pie). Unfortunately the individual(s) who left this little family with us did not provide any information about them.

Tart has a gray tabby shorthaired coat, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with dark golden eyes, a dusting of white on her muzzle, a pink/gray nose, and long white whiskers.

Tart was given vaccinations and Pyrantel dewormer on May 19, 2026. She weighed 7.2 lbs on May 12th. Tart was given booster vaccines on June 3rd 2026.

This little sweetheart was a wonderful mother to her three babies, and she raised them to be happy, playful youngsters. Tart was separated from the kittens after they were fully weaned.

Tart has a sweet, super-friendly personality and adores attention. She is currently in The Jungle Room (where most of our adoptable cats are housed). Tart comes running to the front of her cage whenever she senses the slightest chance for some loving and quickly rolls over for belly rubs.

Tart will be spayed in the near future (tentatively on July 6th) and will soon be ready to find her forever home.

Tart's kittens (Pot Pie, Quiche, and Shepherds Pie) are sharing a double-wide cage and will be available for adoption (tentatively in early August) after they are neutered/spayed.
