Toodles (Photos September 27th 2026) - Poodle and Terrier Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Toodles is a cute 3-month old male Poodle/Terrier mix who arrived at the HSOV on September 25th after he was picked up on Oakwood Avenue in Marietta and escorted to the safety of our shelter by Marietta Ohio City Police Department personnel. Toodles was wearing a nice collar but, unfortunately, there was no form of identification on his collar .. And he was not microchipped.

This little sweetheart has a black-and-white coat with a wiry texture, a long tail, and an adorable face with hopeful innocent eyes, a rather large muzzle, and long floppy ears.

Toddles is a happy baby boy who is full of playful puppy antics, and he dearly loves attention.

These photos of Toodles were taken on the afternoon of September 27th when HSOV Volunteer Angel Grosklos spent time with Toodles for his outdoor 'big boy' pictures. Toodles was a pleasure to watch and to photograph while he scampered around in the green grass and stopped occasionally to gaze at the camera lens.

Toodles weighs 24 lbs and is learning to walk on a leash.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Toodles was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Surprisingly nobody has called or came looking for Toodles as of September 29th 2026.
