Meet Meko!

Meko is a handsome 10 year old Pomeranian weighing around 15 pounds, and this sweet little gentleman is an absolute LOVE BUG! He’s affectionate, loyal, cuddly, and just an all around wonderful little dog. Meko was lovingly surrendered to our care when his family could no longer care for him, and now he’s hoping to find a forever home where he can spend his golden years being loved and spoiled!

Meko is the kind of dog who loves his people with his whole heart. He bonds deeply with those he trusts and absolutely adores being held, cuddled, and snuggled up beside you on the couch. He can be a little nervous when meeting someone new and may bark initially, but a little baby talk and some yummy wet food go a long way! Once he realizes you’re his friend, you’ll have yourself a loyal little shadow who wants nothing more than to be close to you.

For a senior gentleman, Meko still enjoys getting out and about! He loves going for walks, soaking up the sunshine while sunbathing, and finding a cozy spot by the window to watch the world go by. He’s also a very well-mannered boy in the house. Meko is house trained, does wonderfully going potty outside, and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate. He’s got a great little routine and is a pretty easy companion overall!

Meko previously lived in a home with multiple dogs and did very well with them, so he’s certainly accustomed to having canine friends around. Cats are currently an unknown. One important thing to know about this little guy is that he only has two teeth remaining, so he’ll need to remain on a wet-food diet for the rest of his life. Thankfully, he absolutely loves his yummy wet food, so we don’t think he’ll be complaining about that!

Meko is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. At 10 years young, this sweet boy still has so much love to give. He’s not asking for anything extravagant — just a comfortable home, a cozy couch, some sunshine, and people who will love him as deeply as he’ll love them.

Meko is truly such a good, good boy, and we would love nothing more than to see this affectionate little gentleman find his happily ever after!
