Meet Louise, aka Lou Lou!

Lou Lou is roughly 12 years young, about 8 pounds, and quite possibly the sweetest Chihuahua you will ever meet. Seriously, this girl does not have a mean bone in her tiny little body. She loves being picked up, held, cuddled, and loved on. You can pretty much manhandle her and she’s perfectly content to soak up the attention. She’s wonderful with new people, fantastic at the vet, great in the car, and happily lets just about anyone hold and love her.

Lou Lou came to us as a local owner surrender at approximately 12 years old. We can’t change how her story started or the fact that she found herself needing a new home in her senior years, but we absolutely can make sure the ending is everything she deserves. We’re looking for someone who wants to give this little girl the very best retirement. Lots of soft blankets, comfy beds, couch snuggles, and more love than she knows what to do with.

She is an incredibly easygoing little lady. Lou Lou will potty outside and will also use pee pads. She does great with other dogs, although she really couldn’t care less about them, and she feels about the same way toward cats. Her favorite species is definitely human. She isn’t looking to run marathons or spend her days wrestling with other dogs. All she wants is to curl up on the couch or in bed, relax, and be close to her person.

We would absolutely love to find Lou Lou a family who is home a good amount of the time. She wants to be with her people as much as possible, and at this stage of her life, we think she deserves exactly that. She has spent enough time wondering where she belongs. Her golden years should be spent knowing, without a doubt, that she is loved and that she is home.

Lou Lou is up to date on vaccinations, will have her health certificate prior to adoption, and is scheduled for a dental to address the few teeth she has remaining. If you’re looking for a tiny, gentle, easygoing companion who simply wants to be by your side and soak up every ounce of love you have to give, Lou Lou is your girl. She truly is perfection in Chihuahua form and now she just needs her forever person.
