Meet Libby!

Libby is an adorable 3 month old mixed breed girl weighing about 8 pounds. We’re thinking there may be some Dachshund or Chiweenie in the mix, those short little legs and ridiculously cute ears have to come from somewhere! Her mama was around 25 pounds, so while we can never guarantee adult size, we think Libby will likely be somewhere around 25 pounds full grown.

Libby is everything you could want in a puppy. She is sweet, silly, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. She absolutely loves people and has been wonderful with the kids in her foster home. In fact, she sleeps snuggled up in bed with them every night and sleeps straight through until early morning. She loves attention, loves to play, and has brought so much happiness and fun into her foster home.

For only 3 months old, Libby is doing fantastic with her routine! She has gotten used to going potty outside in the backyard and is doing very well, although the occasional puppy accident can still happen — especially an excited little pee when she first comes out of her crate. She has also been comfortable crated when her foster family leaves the house for up to about fourish hours. Libby walks wonderfully on a leash and would love a family ready to take her along on plenty of adventures.

Toys are one of Libby’s FAVORITE things, and she always seems ready to play. Like any puppy, she can get a little mouthy when she’s excited, but she redirects really well onto her toys. Her foster family is even sending her favorite toy along with her so she has a little piece of home while she settles into her next chapter.

Libby is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will have her health certificate prior to adoption. If you’re looking for a happy, loving little girl who can play with the family, join you for adventures, and then snuggle up in bed at the end of the day, Libby might just be your perfect match.
