Meet JoJoe!

JoJoe is an adorable 3 year old Maltese mix weighing around 12 pounds, and this sweet little gentleman is looking for a new best friend to call his own! JoJoe was sadly surrendered to our care when his beloved person had to move into a nursing home. Now he’s hoping to find another family who will love him just as much and give him the companionship he craves.

JoJoe is such a sweet, affectionate little guy who absolutely LOVES his people. He can be a tiny bit shy when first meeting someone new, but he warms up quickly and then he’s all about the love! He wants to be held, cuddled, and included in whatever you’re doing. He’s definitely a little needy in the most endearing way, and we think he’d be happiest with someone looking for a loyal little shadow to keep them company throughout the day.

JoJoe does well with the other dogs in his foster home, both big and small. He enjoys a little playtime here and there, but he’s definitely more of a people dog than a dog’s dog. He’s perfectly happy coexisting with canine friends, although his favorite place will always be right beside his person. He also does wonderfully on car rides and would make a fantastic little sidekick for someone who enjoys bringing their dog along on outings and adventures.

This little guy also has some great manners! JoJoe is doing very well with both house training and crate training, making him a pretty easygoing companion overall. He’s not asking for much just a comfortable home, plenty of affection, and someone who will make him feel loved and secure again. JoJoe is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. He’s a sweet, loving, easy little boy who simply wants to be someone’s best friend. After losing the only home he knew, we would love nothing more than to see JoJoe find his forever person and get back to doing what he does best, loving someone with his whole little heart!
