NOTE: Colette is an "OUT OF TOWN PET" - meaning she is not at this location, but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston, TX based and all our fosters and Rescue are in and around Houston.

Colette is a 10 week-old Papillon mix (with a hint of Chihuahua, perhaps!) who currently weighs a mighty 4 pounds and is expected to mature around 10 pounds. She may be small, but she is overflowing with personality, charm, and pure puppy joy.

This little girl is hilarious, animated, and full of sparkle. Colette loves toys — all toys — and proudly believes every single one belongs to her. She wrestles with her siblings for toy control, prances around with her favorites, and keeps everyone entertained with her silly antics.

Despite her spunky side, Colette is also wonderfully observant and people-focused. She keeps an eye on her humans, watches everything with bright curiosity, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. When playtime winds down, she melts right into your lap for snuggles, naps, and her absolute FAVORITE thing in the world: tummy rubs. She will happily roll over and ask for them with her whole heart.

With her Papillon influence, Colette shows early signs of being smart, attentive, affectionate, and eager to bond. She’s the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet companionship.

The Details:

Colette will be microchipped & has her age-appropriate vaccinations and will need to be spayed by her adopter before she is 1 year old. You will receive a $100 rebate once that is done. She would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family.

Currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $525 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
