NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - meaning she is not at this location, but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based and all our fosters and Rescue are in and around Houston.


Meet Rosie!

Rosie is a beautiful 3-4-year-old English Labrador Retriever. (We believe she is a purebred Dudley Labrador!!). She is the perfect girl! She has a wonderful gentle spirit, loves meeting new people, gets along well with dogs of all sizes and great with kids. She also gets along with cats! She is NOT a barker and is extremely smart.

Rosie is very gentle when she takes treats and has the best manners. She loves walking on a leash and loves being with her people. She is potty-trained and a people-pleaser.

Rosie was surrendered by her loving family, after they were evicted from their home and found themselves living in their car with multiple dogs and cats.
Our hope for Rosie is a dog friend and a roomy yard for her to be able to run and play and stretch her legs.

She is currently on the skinny side, but we think she will fill out at 60+ pounds.

Rosie is getting spayed this week, as well as getting up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped.

The adoption fee is $425 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Currently Rosie is being fostered at our Rescue near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
