Meet Bernardo!

Bernardo was rescued from BARC along with his brother and sister. We believe they were left behind when their family moved away and were fed by neighbors and played with neighborhood children for a couple weeks before we rescued them.

Bernardo is a beautiful dog with handsome tannish-brown highlights and eyebrows with a splash of white on his chest. About a year old, he weighs 25 pounds and has great energy and enthusiasm.

He is friendly and active and loves to chase his brother around in the back yard and splash in the puppy pool. He loves to pile up with his brother and sister for their daily naps.

Bernardo will be neutered soon, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and chipped. He will benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Adoption fee is $350 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Germany, these dogs are characterized by their distinctive high stepping gait and sleek, shiny coat. Miniature Pinschers are spirited, alert, and fearless, making them excellent watchdogs despite their small size. With their confident personalities and loyalty to their owners, Miniature Pinschers make charming and lively companions for those who appreciate their big dog demeanor in a compact package.
