Meet Veronica!

Veronica was rescued from BARC along with her two brothers (see pic of all 3 siblings). We believe they were left behind when their family moved away and were fed by neighbors and played with neighborhood children for a couple weeks before we rescued them.

Veronica is a beautiful golden girl, with a pretty white chest and white toe socks.
About a year old, she is a skinny 15 pounds. We figure she will top out at 20 pounds or so when she fills out.

She is friendly and active, loves attention from her rescuers and happy to stay out of the fray as her brothers chase each other around and splash in the puppy pool. She does love her brothers, and they often end up in a pile as they take their daily naps.

Veronica enjoys running in the safety of the back yard of the Rescue and eating regularly. She loves to sit and observe everything going on around her and is a happy and sweet dog.

Veronica is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and chipped. She will benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family.

Adoption fee is $350 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The Miniature Pinscher, often referred to as the "King of Toys," is a small but sturdy breed known for its energetic and playful nature. Originating from Germany, these dogs are characterized by their distinctive high stepping gait and sleek, shiny coat. Miniature Pinschers are spirited, alert, and fearless, making them excellent watchdogs despite their small size. With their confident personalities and loyalty to their owners, Miniature Pinschers make charming and lively companions for those who appreciate their big dog demeanor in a compact package.
