Wally — The Chillest Chi-Heeler Around
Greetings from Wally, your resident chiller — a one-of-a-kind blend of Heeler and Chihuahua with the perfect mix of smarts, sweetness, and serenity. The name fits me perfectly. I'm just over a year old, a wonderfully portable 30 pounds, and calm for my age. I love to play and romp with dogs and humans alike, but I'm not the type to be loud or over the top about it. I'm a gentleman.

Personality & Training
I'm a quick study and a thoughtful observer. I'm fully potty-trained (not one single accident!) and I'm even learning to ring a bell at the door when I need to go out. I listen well, I aim to please, and I pick up routines fast.

When it's time to leave the dog park, just say the word — I'll trot right to the car and settle in with my seatbelt on. I'm a great passenger and often drift off to sleep with the gentle motion of the ride. Chiller approved!

Social Skills
I haven't met a dog or human I didn't like. I'm friendly, polite, and happy to be part of whatever the group is doing. I'm the kind of dog who fits in anywhere.

My Past
My story started out rough. I was found alone, trying to survive, and ended up in a high-kill shelter where my time was almost up. A kind man stepped forward to foster me, and that act of compassion saved my life. Now I'm ready for the chapter that comes next — the one where I'm loved for good.

Health
I'm neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm healthy, happy, and ready to go home.

My Dream
As summer fades and the air turns crisp, I'm hoping for one thing: a family of my very own to share the next season with... and all the ones after that. I'm sending this message out into the world with hope, love, and a wagging tail.

Currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $350 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
