Meet Sugar — A Gentle, Green-Eyed Beauty Ready for Her Forever Home

Sugar is a 3 1/2 month-old Great Pyrenees x Golden Retriever mix (we guesstimate) with the kind of gorgeous green eyes that make everyone stop and stare. She's sweet, thoughtful, and wonderfully people-focused — the kind of puppy who quietly settles near her humans and takes in the world with calm curiosity.

Sugar has a mellow, observant personality that makes her a joy to have around. She enjoys being near her people, following the family's rhythm, and watching over children in the yard with gentle interest. She's friendly with other dogs, easy to love, and happiest when she's included in everyday life.

Adoption Requirements:
Sugar must be spayed by her adopter at an age-appropriate time before she is 12 months old. You'll receive a $100 rebate once her spay procedure is completed by your veterinarian.
We will require that her adopter has a fenced in yard and no apartments please.

Currently she is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $395, plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
