Meet Einstein — A Little Genius Looking for His Forever

They named him Einstein, and maybe they knew exactly what they were doing.

At just 5 and a 1/2 month old and 20 pounds, this beautiful snow-white boy is already figuring out the important things in life: how to walk nicely on a leash, where he’s supposed to go potty, how to make friends with other puppies...

And most importantly, how to make people fall in love with him.

Einstein is believed to be a Great Pyrenees/Collie mix, but he seems to have received his Pyrenees looks in a smaller package. We expect this little “Pocket Pyrenees” to grow to somewhere around 45–60 pounds.

He’s already nearly house-trained and walks beautifully on a leash. He loves meeting new people and happily plays with other pups. For such a young dog, Einstein is doing an awfully good job learning how this whole family-dog thing works.

But there are some things even Einstein hasn't figured out yet.

He doesn't know where his forever home will be.

He doesn't know whose footsteps he'll someday follow from room to room, whose couch he'll curl up beside, or who will scratch behind those soft white ears at the end of the day.

He doesn't know that somewhere out there, someone may be looking at his picture right now and thinking...

“There you are.”

Einstein has his whole life ahead of him. There will be walks to take, friends to meet, lessons to learn and countless ordinary days that become special simply because a good dog is there to share them.

For a puppy named after one of history's greatest minds, Einstein really only needs to solve one more problem: How to find his way home.

Getting Einstein to you...

Einstein is microchipped & fully vaccinated and will need to be neutered by his adopter before he is 1 year old. We will give you a $100 rebate when that has been done. He would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $425 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

The Collie is a graceful and intelligent dog known for their loyalty, gentle nature, and exceptional herding abilities. They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity.
