Meet Beth - The Beautiful-Eyed Girl Who Is Finding Her Confidence
Beth is learning that the world is actually a pretty exciting place.
When she first arrived in her foster home, she needed help getting just about everywhere. New things were intimidating, and this shy girl wasn't quite sure what to make of everything around her.
But Beth is changing.
She's becoming more outgoing. She's exploring. She's getting adventurous. She's racing around with the zoomies-and when she's ready for a break, she'll happily climb onto the couch or bed with her foster family for a nap.
Give Beth a little time to trust you, and she'll give you her whole heart.
Beth Loves:
-Walks
-Running
-Playing fetch
-Tug toys
-Playing with other dogs
-Playing with toys
-Cuddling
-Zooming around
-Exploring
-Spending time with her people
-Learning new things
Beth's Favorite Thing:
Being close to the people she trusts.
Beth is a Velcro girl once she gets to know you.
She may be shy when you first meet her, but she warms up quickly with patience. Once that relationship clicks, her foster says she'll love you and become your best friend.
And when it's naptime?
Beth is perfectly happy cuddling up with her people on the couch or bed.
Watching Her Confidence Grow
One of the best things about Beth is seeing how quickly she's learning to navigate the world.
At first, she needed help getting everywhere.
Now?
She's zooming around on her own.
She's becoming more curious and adventurous as her confidence grows, and her foster is seeing more of that goofy, playful personality emerge.
Beth is smart and a quick learner, so a family that continues giving her positive experiences without overwhelming her should have a lot of fun watching her blossom.
Playful, Smart & Ready to Learn
Beth has a nice medium energy level.
She enjoys running and playing but also knows how to settle in for cuddles and naps.
She's both food and toy motivated, which gives her family some excellent tools for continued training.
Beth is currently working on:
Sit
Leash manners
Continued confidence building
Her potty-training routine has been introduced and is going well.
She's also doing well in her crate with a structured routine and schedule, although she does experience some crate anxiety. Continued consistency will be important as she becomes more comfortable settling independently.
Dogs, Cats & Kids
Beth loves other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with.
Her experience with cats is limited, so we can't say for certain how she'll do. Based on her temperament, her foster believes she would likely be fine with appropriate introductions.
Beth has not yet been tested with children, so we don't want to make assumptions about her comfort level with them.

And when the exploring is finished, Beth knows exactly where she wants to be-curled up on the couch or bed with the people she's learned to trust.
