Atari - Mastiff Dog for Adoption in Nashville, Tennessee

Atari is a year old, weighs 80 pounds and is allegedly an Anatolian mix. My money is on mastiff, and I am doubling down because aside from color, I am just not seeing Anatolian Shepherd here. Whatever went into the recipe, the result is a large, exceptionally nice dog with an impressive résumé for someone who has never had a job.

Atari is wonderful with people of all ages, good with dogs and cats, and is an uncomplicated guy. He has settled beautifully into his foster homes, made friends and gotten on with the business of being somebody’s excellent dog. Atari is housebroken, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash and is an excellent car passenger. At an age when many large dogs are still arguing that your shoes constitute a food group, he has put together a remarkably solid set of life skills.

He would enjoy a fenced yard, but a home committed to regular leash walks could suit him just fine. What he really needs is someone who wants a big, sweet companion and has room in their life for 80 pounds of very good company. Preferably on the sofa.
