Brady - Great Pyrenees and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Nashville, Tennessee

Brady is a 2-year-old, 95-pound boy who is half Great Pyrenees, roughly a quarter Labrador and an assortment of other things, including 1% Dalmatian. That last contribution is my personal favorite. An entire breed showed up to the group project and contributed approximately one spot.

Brady came to us because his owner was dealing with health and financial issues and could no longer care for him. He arrived with lovely manners and a very sad heart. Being a good dog does not guarantee that you get to keep your home, and explaining that to a dog is one of the parts of this work that never gets easier.

And Brady is a very good dog. He is sweet, housebroken, rides beautifully in the car and gets along with people, respectful dogs and cats. He would enjoy a mellow dog friend or even a cat companion, provided everyone understands that friendship does not require being relentlessly in someone’s face. A reasonable position at any species or weight.

His interests include playtime, naptime and Starbucks pup cups. He is fully prepared to accompany you on a coffee run and will not be contributing financially. At 95 pounds, he brings plenty to the relationship already.

What Brady wants most is a home with people who adore him. People who are pleased to see him in the morning, include him in their day and know where he likes to be scratched. He already knows how to live in a home and be somebody’s very good boy. He would very much like to have that job again.

We love seeing Brady smile. We want someone to take him home and give him a reason to do it every day.
