Indiana and Inigo - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Nashville, Tennessee

Indiana and Inigo are two-year-old black shepherd brothers, roughly 90 pounds apiece, who would like to bring 180 pounds of exceptionally nice dog into your home. They are bonded and must be adopted together. Please account for both dogs when purchasing a sofa.

These boys adore people, playtime, toys, balls, snacks and all the petting you can reasonably provide. If you have two hands, they see no staffing shortage. They are affectionate, social dogs who have always lived in a home and have the manners to prove it. They want to be included in your day, preferably in whatever portion involves throwing something or opening the refrigerator.

They are also athletic, intelligent and capable of scaling a fence with a level of competence normally associated with Spider-Man. A secure, appropriately tall fenced yard and supervision outside are requirements. Simply installing a fence and wishing them well is not a containment plan. These are dogs who need someone out there enjoying playtime with them and paying attention to where all 180 pounds are headed.

Indiana and Inigo enjoy the company of some other dogs, so any potential canine housemates will need introductions. No cats or small animals. We are looking for a happy ending for everyone involved, including the cat.

For people who enjoy big, active dogs, these brothers have an enormous amount to offer. They are supremely sweet, fun to play with and generous with their affection. Give them a good romp, something to fetch and a place beside you afterward, and you have provided most of their wish list. There are also snacks on the list. They asked me to check that I mentioned those.

They need a home that wants both of them, will keep them safely contained and understands the appeal of being thoroughly loved by two very large shepherds. In exchange, they will be delighted to see you every single day, even if you have only been gone long enough to get the mail.
