Meet Alfie!

Alfie boy is ready to go home! He came to us with his friends from a shelter in Mobile, Alabama, that asked for help. How could we say no to this face? He is estimated to be 1.5 years old.

Alfie is as sweet as you could want. He is polite and reserved when meeting people. He is great with other dogs and will initiate play if the other dog is so inclined. He is great on a leash and will make a fantastic companion for strolls or hikes around the neighborhood.

Alfie has been in a foster home and very much enjoys being a couch-residing pooch. Cats are curious creatures that need to be sniffed, and then he moves along. He is housebroken.

A fenced-in yard would be great but is not a necessity as long as you are a dedicated leash walker. Alfie is perfectly nice when meeting children, but he gets a little nervous and retreats, so we would recommend kiddos 14+.
He can go anywhere we do!
