** Hi... my name is Woody. **
I'm a young **Jack Russell Terrier mix**, born in **August 2024**, and I weigh about **20 lbs**.
I'm spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and ready to find the family I've been dreaming about.
I'll be available for adoption in **Vancouver, BC beginning July 25th**, and I can also travel to **Washington or Oregon** if my perfect family is waiting for me there.
**My adoption fee is $800 USD.**

**This is my story...**
My journey began when I found myself in a shelter before kind people gave me a second chance. I may not remember every detail of my past, but I know one thing for certain...
Someone believed my life was worth saving.
Now I'm hoping someone will believe I'm worth loving forever.
I wake up every morning with a smile on my face because life is exciting! I love running, exploring, chasing my favorite ball, and going on long walks. If you throw a toy, I'll happily bring it back again... and again... and again! After all that fun, I'm more than happy to curl up for a cozy nap beside my people or my dog friends.
Right now I live with **seven other dogs**, and I absolutely love having canine companions around me. They've helped me learn that life is safe, that people can be kind, and that every new day can be filled with happiness.
That's why I'm hoping my forever home already has another friendly dog waiting for me. Having a furry sibling gives me confidence and helps me feel secure.
I love people, too.
Children make me happy.
Car rides are exciting adventures.
I walk nicely on a leash, I'm fully potty trained, and I even love my crate. It's my little bedroom where I relax, chew on my favorite bones, and dream about the future.
There's just one thing I want to tell you honestly...
Being alone is still hard for me.
After everything I've been through, I worry that if my family leaves, they might not come back.
My foster family has helped me make wonderful progress, and every day I become a little braver. With another dog beside me—or with a patient family willing to help me continue building confidence—I know I'll keep getting stronger.
I don't need someone who's looking for the "perfect" dog.
I need someone who understands that rescued hearts sometimes need a little extra reassurance.
Someone who won't give up on me.
Someone who will celebrate every little victory with me.
In return, I promise you'll never wonder whether you're loved.
I'll greet you with a wagging tail every morning.
I'll make you laugh with my silly Jack Russell energy.
I'll happily join you on every adventure, then snuggle beside you when the day is done.
I'll love you with my whole heart because I know what it means to be given a second chance.
Maybe my forever family is reading this right now.
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for.
If you have room in your heart, another friendly dog to show me the ropes, and the patience to help me continue growing, I promise I'll spend the rest of my life showing you just how grateful I am.
I can't wait to meet you.
Love,
**Woody**
