**My Name Is Junie **
My name is Junie, and I'm a very little girl.
In fact, I'm so little that I only weigh 3.5 pounds right now. I am a Chihuahua / Rat Terrier mix born on 2/20/2026.
I am too young and small to be spayed, but am fully vaccinated, microchipped, and house-trained.
I am travelling from Southern California to my foster home in Ridgefield, WA by the end of June hoping that my real family is out there. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential adopter for me.
My adoption fee is $800USD

Here is my story:
People tell me I was the runt of the litter. I don't really know what that means, but I do know that I've always been the smallest one. While my brothers and sisters were busy racing around and making sure everyone noticed them, I was usually sitting quietly nearby, watching the world and taking everything in.
Before I was even born, my mama found herself in a scary place called a shelter.
I never saw it myself because I was still safe inside her tummy, but I've heard people say it was a high-kill shelter. I don't really know what those words mean, but I know they make people sad when they talk about them.
What I do know is that my mama was very brave.
And because she was saved, I got the chance to be born.
I got the chance to feel sunshine on my face.
I got the chance to run through the grass.
I got the chance to make friends with dogs, cats, chickens, and all kinds of people.
Most importantly, I got the chance to dream about finding a family of my very own.
I'm not the loudest puppy in the room.
I don't always rush to the front when new people arrive.
Sometimes I like to sit back and make sure everything feels safe first.
But once I know you're kind, something magical happens.
I come closer.
I wag my tiny tail.
I curl up beside you.
And before long, I'll be looking up at you with all the love my little heart can hold.
I think that's because I don't need to be the center of attention to be happy.
I just want to be close to someone who loves me.
Someone whose lap I can curl up in after a long day.
Someone who will tell me I'm a good girl.
Someone who will watch me grow from a tiny puppy into their best friend.
I'm still learning about the world.
Every day brings something new to discover.
A new smell.
A new toy.
A new friend.
Maybe even a new family.
Sometimes I wonder where they are.
Maybe they're reading this right now.
Maybe they've been waiting for a puppy who is gentle instead of bold.
Sweet instead of demanding.
Quiet instead of noisy.
Maybe they're looking for a tiny little shadow who will follow them through life with complete trust and unconditional love.
If that's you, I want you to know something.
I may be small enough to fit in your arms...
But I have more love in my heart than you can possibly imagine.
And I can't wait to share it with you.
Love,
**Junie **
