Hi, my name is Stitch.

I'm a 1.5-year-old pug, and I weigh about 15 pounds. People tell me I'm very handsome, but what I really hope they notice is how much I love being around them.

I'm neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy, but the thing I want most isn't found in a medical chart.
Its found in a family...
a lap...
a warm voice...
a safe place to rest my head.

I am travelling from Southern California to live with my foster family in Ridgefield, WA by the end of June. I also can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential adopter for me.

Here is my story:

I don't ask for much in life. I don't need to be the center of attention, and I'm not the type to bark about every little thing. My favorite thing in the world is simply being close to my people. If you're cooking dinner, I'll be nearby. If you're watching TV, I'll happily curl up beside you. If you're going for a walk, I'll be ready to join you with my little curly tail wagging.

I love everyone I meet. Big people, little people, strangers, friends I think they're all wonderful. I also enjoy spending time with other dogs and have never met one I didn't want to be friends with.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a family of my very own. A family that would be excited to see me every morning and happy to come home to me every night. A family that would let me be their loyal little shadow and best friend.

I'm already potty trained, well-mannered, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. I've done my part and I'm ready for the next chapter of my life.

The only thing missing is you.

I dream about having a home where I can spend my days following my favorite humans around, taking naps in sunny spots, going on adventures, and ending every evening curled up beside the people I love.
