**My Name Is Patches **
And apparently, I'm the only boy.
Not just the only boy... the biggest boy.
I am a 3 months old Poogle / Maltese mix, weighing 4.3 lbs of scruffy little nugget.
I am still too small and young to be neutered but fully vaccinated, microchipped. I will be available for adoption in Washington or Oregon by the end of June and can travel to Vancouver,BC for the right family.
My adoption fee is $1000USD.

Here is my story:
I have several sisters, and while they may disagree, I think being the biggest comes with important responsibilities.
Someone has to investigate every new toy.
Someone has to make sure every food bowl has been properly inspected.
Someone has to lead the charge when it's time to play.
It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
I'm three months old now, and every day feels like a brand-new adventure.
The world is such an exciting place.
There are leaves to chase.
Shoelaces to investigate.
Friends to make.
Laps to cuddle in.
And so many wonderful smells that I simply haven't had enough time to sniff yet.
People always stop to talk about my eyes.
They say they're huge.
Personally, I think they're the perfect size for seeing all the amazing things life has to offer.
Then they notice my scruffy little coat and all my colorful patches.
That's actually how I got my name.
I look like someone carefully stitched together all the cutest pieces and somehow created me.
At least that's what my foster family tells me.
And honestly, I think they might be right.
I love everyone I meet.
Dogs?
Love them.
Cats?
Love them too.
Chickens?
They're fascinating.
Humans?
Absolutely my favorite.
Big humans, little humans, new humans, old humansI think they're all wonderful.
My tail starts wagging the moment I meet someone because, in my opinion, every stranger is just a friend I haven't played with yet.
Life wasn't always guaranteed for me.
Before I was born, my mama found herself in a scary shelter.
But kind people stepped in and changed our story.
Because someone saved her, I got the chance to be born.
I got the chance to play.
I got the chance to be loved.
And now I get the chance to find a family of my very own.
Sometimes at night, after I've finished playing and everyone is settling down, I curl up in my bed and wonder what my forever family is doing.
Maybe they're sitting on the couch watching TV.
Maybe they're laughing together over dinner.
Maybe they're looking at pictures of puppies online.
Maybe they're reading this right now.
If that's you, there's something I want you to know.
I don't care if your house is big or small.
I don't care what kind of car you drive.
I don't care if you're rich or famous.
I only care about one thing.
Will you love me?
Will you let me grow up beside you?
Will you laugh when I do silly puppy things?
Will you give me a place where I never have to wonder if I belong?
Because if you do, I promise I'll spend every single day trying to make you smile.
I'll greet you like you're the most important person in the world.
I'll be there on your best days.
I'll be there on your hardest days.
And I'll love you with every tiny piece of my scruffy little heart.
My name is Patches.
I'm ready for my forever home.
And maybe...
Just maybe...
I've been waiting for you all along.
Love,
**Patches **
