Meet Bella!
Bella's story begins with a moment no dog should ever experience. At just 1 year old, this beautiful black-and-tan German Shepherd was found tied to a post with nothing but a note saying her family couldn't take care of her any longer. No goodbye. No explanation. Just a young, loyal dog left behind.
But Bella didn't let heartbreak define her. She has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, silly, wonderfully spirited girl who is ready for a family that will never let her go again.
Now fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention, Bella is healthy, safe, and eager for her fresh start. Bella weighs about 55lbs and is 1 year old.
Her Personality — A Mix of Heart and Goofiness
Bella is the perfect blend of loving sweetheart and playful puppy energy.
She walks nicely on a harness
Knows sit and stay
Is learning not to jump (she just gets excited!)
Thinks belly rubs are the best invention in the world!
Is fully housetrained
Is crate-trained and proud of her crate — she carries every treat and toy inside like its her personal treasure chest
Her absolute favorite thing? A frozen peanut butter Kong. She'll march it straight into her crate like she's storing gold.
Bella is incredibly intelligent and eager to please, and she thrives with exercise, playtime, and fun training games.
Her Quirks — Because Every Great Dog Has Them
Bella currently lives with cats, and she thinks they're... well... chaseable. Because of that, she spends her day in a separate room and sleeps in her crate at night. When bored, she may chew things she shouldn't — classic young Shepherd mischief — so she'll do best with structure, toys, and plenty of activity.
Her Perfect Match
Bella is looking for an adopter who sees past her rough beginning and recognizes the gem she truly is. She'll shine with:
An active home
Continued training
Daily exercise
Someone who loves a smart, goofy, affectionate Shepherd
Bella has already survived being abandoned. Now she's ready to be adored.

Bella is spayed, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate.
This is how we communicate in real time: The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
