Oakley — So Cool He Needs Shades

Are you looking to get in your daily steps? If so, Oakley and you share something in common — he’s never turned down an opportunity to go for a walk!

Oakley is a stunning, approximately 3 year old, fun-loving dog who adores spending time with his person and other furry friends. Found as a stray in rural Texas, this handsome boy has blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion ready for his forever home.

Oakley’s appearance suggests a Great Pyrenees x Collie mix, giving him that beautiful golden coat, soft nature, and intelligent, people-focused personality. At about 72lbs, he’s the perfect balance of gentle sweetness and playful spirit — and he’s such a good boy!

Oakley and his ideal home environment:
Oakley is neutered, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need some time to adjust and settle in with his new family. He would benefit from a family who appreciates his gentle, warm nature and seeks a life-long loyal companion.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport.
