Grant’s Big Adventure Home
Once upon a time, there was a very little dog named Grant.
And when we say little, we mean really little.
Grant is an 8-month-old Maltipoo mix who weighs just 4.2 pounds. Even when he’s completely grown, he’s expected to be only about 412 to 5 pounds.
But while Grant may be tiny, his heart is enormous.
Grant has been on an important adventure. He’s searching for something every little dog deserves:
A home of his very own.
He’s been looking everywhere.
“Is my home over here?” Grant wonders.
Nope.
“Maybe it’s over there?”
Not yet.
So Grant keeps searching.
He dreams about a cozy bed, a warm lap and a person who will scoop him up and tell him that he never has to look for home again.
Grant thinks that sounds pretty wonderful.
He is an incredibly sweet and cuddly little boy who loves being close to his people. At only 8 months old, he’s still learning some of the things puppies need to know. He’s working on his house training and will need a patient family willing to help him continue learning.
After all, even the smallest adventurers have a few things left to figure out.
But Grant already knows the most important thing:
how to love.
Maybe his forever home has a soft blanket waiting for him.
Maybe there’s an empty spot on the couch that's exactly Grant-sized.
Maybe there’s someone reading his story right now who has been looking for a tiny best friend without even knowing it.
And maybe Grant’s big adventure is almost over.
Because sometimes you travel a long way looking for home...
only to discover that home is a person.
Could Grant’s person be you?

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
