Meet Baby!

Approximately 8 to 10 years old and all of 5 pounds soaking wet... maybe. What she lacks in body mass, she makes up for in audacity, opinions, and an absolutely unreasonable amount of personality.

Baby has two operating modes:

MODE ONE: DO NOT DISTURB.
If Baby is resting comfortably, eating, or simply gives you the look... leave Baby alone. If she has decided she wants to be left alone and you ignore her request, she WILL attempt to end your existence.

Will she succeed? Probably not. She weighs 5 pounds. But the confidence with which she will try is honestly admirable.

MODE TWO: WHY AREN’T YOU PETTING ME?!
When Baby wants attention, suddenly personal space no longer exists. She will climb all over your lap, back her tiny booty into you for scratches, and nuzzle you with her nose if you dare stop loving on her.

But remember: ALL AFFECTION IS ON BABY’S TERMS.

You do not summon Baby. Baby summons you.

And if you’d like to improve your odds of being summoned? FOOD. This girl LOVES food. Snacks are quite literally the key to her tiny, occasionally evil heart.
Baby is also freaking HILARIOUS. She loves to play, bark at you for attention, boss everyone around, and strut through the house like she personally pays the mortgage.

Big dogs: Absolutely not. Baby has no concept of her own mortality and WILL try to fight them.

Small dogs: She can coexist with her fellow tiny creatures.

Cats: Whatever. Baby has more important things to worry about.

Kids: HARD NO. Adult only home for this little lady.

New people should proceed with caution. Once you’re officially accepted into Baby’s inner circle?

Still proceed with caution. Just... slightly less caution.

Baby needs a very experienced, Chihuahua savvy adopter who understands canine body language and respects boundaries. She doesn’t want to be poked, picked at, or bothered just because she’s tiny and cute. When Baby says she’s done, she’s DONE.

And despite everything you just read, Baby is actually incredibly easy to care for. She’s fully pee pad trained, doesn’t require much, and is perfectly happy doing her own thing. Give her food, a comfy bed, some playtime, respect her boundaries, and provide affection when Her Majesty requests it...

Baby is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will have her health certificate prior to adoption.

She’s not for everyone but for the experienced Chihuahua person who appreciates a tiny dog with terms and conditions, Baby is an absolute riot.
She’ll make you laugh. She’ll demand your attention. She’ll love you unconditionally...when she’s in the mood.
