Sweet Mimi is ready to leave her past behind and finally experience the life she has always deserved.
Mimi is a 6 year old, 10 lb Shih Tzu mix who came to us from a less than ideal home. Its clear this little girl hasnt always received the care she deserved, but despite everything, she has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and full of love.
We know Mimi is in desperate need of a good grooming! Her coat has significant staining, particularly from urine, that unfortunately has not come out despite multiple baths. We are working on getting her professionally groomed as soon as possible, so please look beyond her current appearance, there is a beautiful little girl underneath who is more than ready for her glow up!
And her personality? Absolutely precious. Mimi is a total love bug whose little tail starts wagging as soon as she hears her people. She has the sweetest, most soulful eyes and just wants to be loved. She is relaxed, easygoing, and happiest simply being near you.
Mimi does wonderfully with other dogs and cats and would make an amazing companion for a quieter, easygoing home. She sleeps nicely in a crate at night and is doing very well with going potty outside.
When Mimi arrived, her teeth were also in poor condition, so we made sure she received the dental care she needed while she was under anesthesia. She is now spayed and up to date on vaccines and will be ready to head into her new chapter feeling so much better.
This little girl has already lived through the hard part. Now we want nothing more than to find her a family who will spoil her, adore her, and show her just how wonderful a dogs life can be. Mimi truly is a little gem. She doesnt need anything fancy, just a soft place to land, plenty of love, and a family who will make sure she never has to wonder if shes cared for again.
