Meet Blankie!

This handsome four year old, 20 pound terrier mix has been through more than any dog should, but he hasn’t let his difficult past change his sweet, loving heart. Now, he’s ready for the forever home he has always deserved.

Blankie is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he’s close to his people. He came to us suffering from a severe flea allergy, and his fur is still growing back. But every day, he is healing, feeling better, and becoming more handsome. What he needs now is a family willing to see past his healing appearance and recognize the wonderful dog underneath.

Blankie is potty trained with routine, settles nicely in his crate, and walks well on a leash with guidance. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and loves everyone he meets. He is eager to give love and is waiting for someone who will give him the patience, kindness, and security he has been missing.

Blankie has already endured enough uncertainty. He deserves a soft place to land, a family who will never give up on him, and a lifetime filled with comfort, companionship, and love. We promise he is the best boy. He has the cutest smile too that will brighten anyone’s days! He’s truly a fantastic boy!
